Safety Standards
Ping has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). This page documents our policies, reporting mechanisms, and cooperation with law enforcement.
Scope
These standards apply to all users, content, and interactions on Ping. Our platform is strictly 18+ — any user found to be under 18 is permanently banned.
Prohibited conduct
The following are strictly prohibited and result in immediate permanent ban and reporting to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or law enforcement:
- Any content depicting or promoting child sexual abuse or exploitation.
- Any attempt to solicit, share, or discuss sexual content involving minors.
- Any grooming behavior or attempts to direct minors to other platforms.
Reporting
If you see something that violates these standards, report it immediately:
- In-app: Tap "Report" on any user profile or chat.
- Email: safety@heyping.xyz
- NCMEC: CyberTipline (1-800-843-5678)
Content moderation
All profile photos are run through Google Cloud Vision SafeSearch before going live. We review reported content and accounts within 24 hours. Accounts with verified CSE content are immediately preserved (digital evidence), permanently banned, and reported to NCMEC.
Cooperation with authorities
We fully cooperate with law enforcement and NCMEC investigations, including preserving account data and providing timely responses to legal requests.
